Strong Herbal Laxatives:

Strong laxatives are used in severe cases of constipation.  Strong laxative herbs include Cascara Sagrada, Aloe, Senna, and Buckthorn.  They are very effectively stimulating the colon wall nerves, which induces bowel movement.  Must avoid to use these laxatives with over-the-counter laxative medications as excessive use of these strong herbs can cause dysfunction of the colon.
